Ebonised Oak Candlestick

Our newest design, made in striking Ebonised Oak and brass, with a modern take on a classic turned ‘Bobbin’ design.
Sometimes the best designs evolve from necessity. We buy the very best quarter-sawn English Oak for our boards, but there are always offcuts - and we just couldn’t waste such wonderful timber!
So, our English Oak Candlestick design was born - the ‘zigzag’ shape dictated by each stacked wood piece that makes up the construction.
Naturally ebonised to a deep dark black, then finished to a rich sheen in a hardwearing wax and oil blend, with a solid brass insert to fit a standard 22mm dinner candle. These candlesticks would suit a relaxed, vintage table just as well as a contemporary mantle.
We’ve made two sizes, a varied collection looks stunning as a table centrepiece, or choose your favourite individually to gift to someone special.
