Our much-loved plates for slices of afternoon cake or an elevenses treat, our Small English Oak Plate is sure to become your new everyday favourite.
Each plate is individually hand-turned from quarter sawn English Oak. The slow growth and long drying process has resulted in a fantastically rich, characterful wood, often with beautiful medullary rays running across the surface. This Oak is also really stable, meaning your plates stay flat on the table! For 2023, we’ve updated the design slightly to give a thicker rim with a slight bevel and weightier feel, which is lovely to hold and eat from whilst still feeling lightweight (the smaller size and weight also make these great plates for kids). Finished in a hardwearing hardwax oil.
